So i've decided to make the move from Blogger to Wordpress. It's going to take some time since i'm doing a lot of transfer and technical stuff -- and creating my new layout over there but in the meantime this site will be up and running until it's removed.

The URL will stay the same but as of right now www.cheechun.com is DOWN. So make sure that when you're viewing you go through the generic blogspot URL which is http://www.lovecheechun.com.

The only DOWNSIDE to moving is that i will be losing ALL of my followers, so you will have to update and follow my new site with google connect once i get that all launched. I will update you guys along the way and i hope most if not all my followers continue to follow.

Decided to post a blog post on my Birthday Wishlist. Just a few items i want & plan on getting within the next year or so (hopefully)! Some of my close friends have asked me what i wanted for my birthday this year, although i've told them all i don't want anything in particular -- a birthday greeting is more than enough ; i decided to post it just in case somebody really really really wants to get me something. LOL!

Although my "want" items are on the pricey side, in no way am i asking anybody for these items. It's more of a checklist for me so i don't deter from what i really want since i have a habit of saving up to get something i want and blowing it completely on something i didn't. So enjoy! My Opinion: First and foremost, just to let you know i am a skincare addict. When i say addict i seriously have an obsessive tendency to continously purchase skincare products (especially moisturizers). I've gone through cheap drugstore brands to spending over $200.00 on a moisturizer. Although i am NO professional at skincare, i can tell you that my opinions of moisturizers are pretty "legit" in my eyes since i can say i've tried so many in my life.

Now back to the review, this moisturizer is by far one of the best ones i have tried. Not only is this super lightweight it absorbs into the skin almost immediately. So i don't have to sit and wait for 20+ minutes waiting for it to absorb before apply my makeup. Also, as you can see in my Pros, i stated it dubs well as a primer. Now i have no idea how it works so well but when i use this moisturizer i never and when i say never have to use a primer to keep my foundation in place. It dries to a pretty matte finish and my foundation sticks to it perfectly. Mineral, powder, cream, and liquid ; i've tried it all and each time i never have to worry about my makeup sliding off or anything else. I seriously say this is a 2 for 1. After apply this i also noticed that my skin instantly looks brighter. It gives me a very glowy appearance suitable enough for me to go out without a hint of makeup on but knowing my skin doesn't look dull. Now i have combination / oily skin in the summer an dry skin in the winter and after using this product for over a year now, i can tell you that it's worked with both my skin conditions and transitions with the weather without any hesitation, leaving me to resort to another product. This is an item i HIGHLY recommend if you're looking for a good moisturizer for daily use.

Although i love this moisturizer, i do not use this at night since i tend to go for a thicker and creamier night cream. The only downfall to this is that it does have a hint of a medicinal smell but nothing to much to drive me crazy. It goes away quickly so for those who are sensitive to smell, this may be the only downfall to it.

I would definitely purchase this time and time again. Not only is it cheap but it lasts a long time! I was fortunate enough to receive a sample for my lovely Julie, the creator behind Body Laundry and i've been using the sample almost everyday and i still have product left. I would highly highly recommend you all to check her out. Her skincare line is amazing! I have tried her purifying blemish clay mask and will be doing a PR on that shortly. She has other products i have not tried but will be purchasing to test out and PR also. Not only do i like the fact that her products work, but they are also homemade by her.

So once again, make sure you check her out. The moisturizer is a MUST-HAVE in my book and she also has sample sizes so you don't have to go and buy the huge container. Trust me, the sample size goes a long way. Don't forget to mention i sent you!

I am normally not one to put a complaint on blast, but unfortunately i want to share my experience with a certain Sephora that has upset me to my final point that i am truly so dissatisfied with the service, that i refuse to purchase anything from this particular location again. Maybe people who are in my location may even be able to relate to my experience but i have never i mean NEVER had so many bad experiences at one place time and time again.

Now the store i'm talking is Alderwood Mall's Sephora #302/304. I am normally a Nordstrom's shopper and have always received superb customer service, satisfaction, and always i mean always end up leaving happy because the associates do everything to make sure any questions and concerns are met. Now maybe Nordstrom's employees are paid on comission and maybe Sephora's employees aren't -- but REGARDLESS that shouldn't change the customer service factor at all. If you seriously cannot serve good customer service, then why the f%^* are you in sales in the first place?!

Now on to my last and final straw with them... every time (now when i say everytime, that isn't an exaggeration) i never get greeted. Okay not a biggie, there's other customers and i see associates helping other customers so that's not an issue in my book or wouldn't steer me away from the store. But on a side note, you would expect to at least get one HELLO out of 20+ visits. Now sometimes i go to Sephora knowing exactly what i want and sometimes i don't, but this particular time i did. I was on my mission to re-purchase my "Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer" but in a different shade since i got darker during the summer and the one i originally purchased at Nordstroms is to light for me at the moment. Also, i wanted to see if they had a restock in the Urban Decay Naked Palette since they are sold out all over the place. So as i waltz on in walking around to find where each stand is for the items i'm looking for, a Sales Associate shouts from across the store "CAN I HELP YOU?!" So i wait for her to come around and ask if they have the Urban Decay Naked Palette, and her response... "Oh, We don't carry that." I'm thinking, "Seriously?!?! You don't carry it?! Or are you meaning you're out of stock?!" So i ask again... oh you don't carry it at all? and she replies... "Yeah we don't carry it." I'm shocked but whatever... on to the next one. "Well i'm looking for the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer" and i'm not to sure what color i am since i got darker.... and...." She completely cuts me off at says... "Well you should find out before you purchase it then." Well obviously?! Isn't that WHY i came into the store?! So i'm standing by the testers and she's looking at me like "Girl you better not touch those" type of look which is completely flaring my anger. So instead of dealing with her, i grab my normal color and walk up to the register & pay.

Now most of you are probably wondering why did i even purchase from the store if i had such a bad experience (again)... Well i was so livid and hot that i had to do something and usually when i'm super super angry i blow money and i just bought it to calm my nerves. At the register, the girl didn't say anything to me either... so i'm like whatever. Don't test me cause i'm about to blow. After i breathed and calmed my nerves a little i asked about the Naked Palette again and she tells me that they're out of stock. And i double check, "But you DO carry it right?" and she gives me this crazy look like "Yeah?! DUHHHH!"

That's my story from literally within the last hour. I even forgot to purchase my Benefit POREfessional like i inteded, so i actually asked a friend to pick it up and see if they receive the same experience.

I have finally filed a complaint on this store. Now i am normally not the one to complain or anything but this is seriously ridiculous. That store and it's staff are so unprofessional that it seriously makes me never want to shop at Sephora in general, but since i had such a good experience online and at the Bellevue Sephora, that i will continue to shop with them, but only at the Bellevue location. Alderwood needs retraining or to completely restaff their store because nobody without at least some decent customer service should be working sales in general.

So this is my forewarning to anybody living in Washington State... I have received nothing but horrible service time and time again and do NOT recommend this store at all.

L'Oréal, Shu Uemura's corporate parent company has officially announced the pull of Shu Uemura's skincare, makeup, and beauty tools in the U.S. L'Oréal has simply decided it wants to focus on its luxury brands that have a bigger market share already. The exit for Shu Uemura products is expected to take place relatively slowly over the next several months, with no set date for a final exit. Talk about HUGE disappointed. For most of you beauty crazed fanatics, you all know that Shu Uemura's eyelash curler is one of the BEST on the market. Although you can purchase them online still, the hassle of shipping costs only raise the price in the slightly expensive beauty tool. No longer can i just walk into my nearest Sephora or Nordstrom's to pick up a spare whenever i please. Although i am greatful for the fact that it will be available online, i am still extremely disappointed that their cute little beauty bars will no longer be seen.

For many of you who is wondering (don't worry this was the first thing i researched), SHU UEMURA PRODUCTS WILL NOT GO ON SALE / DISCOUNT during their slow but sure exit out of the U.S. There is no official date set or announced, so just keep your eyes open. We all know it's coming...

21 Months.

It's been awhile since i've posted anything about my daughter, Sanaiyah. She's 21 months now and i seriously feel like i just had her yesterday. She's only 3 months away from being a big 2 year old! It seriously boggles my mind, especially when load her pictures on my laptops, seeing how much she's grown and how advance she's getting with everything she does. She's my shining star & such a trooper.

For those who may not know, me and her father have split and are no longer together. She has been such a trooper with dealing with being passed back and forth between us two. Although she doesn't go more than 24 hours without seeing one or the other parent, but even though -- she waits patiently for mommy to come back or for daddy to come back.

Also, for those who've asked -- my daughter is a mix of 1/2 Filipino, 1/4 Korean, & 1/4 Japanese. I decided to whip out my SLR today and to take a few photos since i have yet to really play with my SLR. I think the photos came out great for a "newb" in the photography game and couldn't have asked for a better model.

ELF Haul.

This past week, i decided to place another order with ELF since they were having their anniversary sale and were offering 60% off on your total purchase. So decided to pick up a few items to test out. Although i am not going to go into much details about certain items right now, but there will be a few PR's on some of these items.

Everything i purchased are new to me except for the Powder Brush (Flat Top). That brush is one of my HG brushes, since i use it on a daily basis and honestly cannot figure out how i applied my foundation without it before. Pros:

Very lightweight.
No harsh exfoliating beads.
Instant results, leaves face super super super smooth.
No harsh smell at all. Very very light scent if any.
As disgusting as it is, it's so cool to see your dead skin ball up immediately.

Cons:

Cannot find this anywhere (locally).
On the steeper side, but worth EVERY penny.

My Opinion: This is my HG exfoliator. I have a serious obsession with exfoliators (due to my "bad" skin) so i'm on the constant hunt for exfoliators, regardless of bad / good reviews. But CURE offers so far the BEST and when i say best i mean the best exfoliator out there.

The first thing that honestly really caught my attention is that 1 of these bottles is sold every 20 seconds in Japan. Seriously?! And they don't even advertise. When i first tried this product a few months back, i was very very skeptical for many reasons. One, it's 91% water, so seriously how is that suppose to honestly clean anything and two, WHERE ARE THE BEADS?! Seriously, i have never used an exfoliator without beads. Now i've tried it all, big beads, little beads, soft beads, hard beads, bursting beads, and so on. You catch my drift. But this has absoutely NO beads, so it honestly once again, didn't make any sense at how it would exfoliate. I honestly STILL can't tell you how it works but it's the best stuff out on the market. As you can see from above, all those little white balls are DEAD SKIN CELLS. Amazing right?

CURE recommends you to use anywhere from 2-3 pumps but honestly i only use 1. It's a lot of product and i'm very conservative with my stuff, so i try to use minimal amounts if possible. 1 pump is honestly more than enough so i do encourage to save this god sent product. So with the amount of product you get this will definitely go a long long way. I use this twice a day followed with a mask and it honestly has improved my skin texture a lot.

After using this only twice, i was complimented by my whole family and a few friends about my skin, saying that it looks a lot healthier, brighter, and glowing! Honestly to hear comments like that make me feel a lot better since i've been doing everything i can and purchasing anything i have a slight amount of faith in.

The only downfall to this product is that it is a Japanese product so you can't find this locally. If you were like me, i hated online shopping and refused to do it due to identity theft, but now that i do shop online, it's a lot easier for me to get this. I've hunted and hunted and hunted for the best pricing and so far Beauty Carousel is the cheapest i can find and ensures that it's 100% authentic, which i can claim that it is.

I get frequent questions about my skin type and what foundation colors work the best with me. So i decided to add a few things to my site. Claims: A gentle water-based cleanser that whisks away the impurities, makeup, and oil that can clog pores and lead to imperfections. Maintains skin’s natural balance. Leaves skin feeling refreshed. pH-balanced formulation. Recommended for oily, combination and normal skin. Use daily morning and evening. Oil-free. Alcohol-free.

Contains: Unfortunately i threw away the box so i can't really give you any information on this.

How To Use: Saturate a cotton pad and wipe gently over face.

My Rating: ★★★★★

(Loved it - Will purchase time & time again).

Pros:

Smells amazing! Like a floral scent.
Light weight and penetrates skin fast.
Cleans face (dirt, oil, & sebum) deeply.
Leaves skin soft and touchable.
Great to use anytime for any reason.
Priced reasonably for a high-end product.

Cons:

NONE!

My Opinon: This is an item that has totally made my HG list. As you can probably tell from the picture, i use this frequently. Part of my AM skincare routine, i actually do not wash my face since i have combination dry skin and the more frequently i wash, the drier i get. So in the morning when i wake up i just take a cotton pad and use about 2 - 3 pumps of this amazing product and wipe my face. It removes all the sebum, left over moisturizers, and creams from the night before, leaving my face refreshed and clean.

It also controls my oil. Since i am combination-dry i do tend to get oily around my nose and sometimes my cheeks, but since i've been using this i have not had a problem with oil at all. I have gone days without it and noticed the oil on those days but when i use it not a spot. It's weird and i can't really explain why it does but all i know is that this product works for me.

Please note though, this product works well for me but may not for others. I would recommend requesting a sample if you want to try it before making the purchase, or to purchase this at Nordstroms since their return policy is very lenient.

I initially wanted to do a PR on this when i had first got it, but wanted to push it off until i actually really used the product. Now i'm more than halfway through the product and this is so worth the product. It's relatively cheap for a Shiseido product in my opinion, and lasts quite some time. I noticed that when i use this product and then continue on with my normal AM skincare routine (moisturizing and etc.) it leaves my skin a lot softer than it would be without using it.

I highly highly highly recommend this product for individuals who don't wash their face in the morning and need to eliminate dry skin and control oil. Since i am almost out, i do plan on making a purchase of this item again and will continue to do so since this is an HG item for me.

Pros:

Great color payoff; very pigmented.
Huge mirror for the size of the palette.
Cheap!
Minimal fallout
Very minimal shimmer, matte & satin mixture.

Cons:

Eyeshadow sponge is very flimsy & not useful for me.

My Opinion: I absolutely love this palette. This is my first item from NYX and am very very impressed with the pigmentation it offers and love how smooth and satiny it is. It has minimal fall out which is definitely a plus for me. The colors are perfect for an everyday neutral look. It offers everything you need from highlights, crease, and outer v colors. I have not tried these colors without an eyelid primer so could not tell you if they are long lasting or crease proof without a primer, but i've used these both with Urban Decay Potion Primer & Too Faced Shadow Insurance and they've lasted me all day through high heat and sweat without a single crease, smudge, or fading. I honestly and persnally like the top left color better than my normal highlight "MAC's Rice Paper". Color pick-up is great. You don't need a lot at all. I just tap my brush in the darkest color to get the color i have for my outer v (seen below). So when i say very pigmented, i really mean it.

As for price wise, it's super affordable and worth every penny. I plan on purchasing more of these palettes in other colors since it's super cheap and very good quality.

The palette is small enough to bring with you for travel and touch-ups (honestly you don't need to if you have a good primer). The mirror is huge, covering the entire top lid of the palette so you don't have to be to close up to it while applying.

I am NOT a fan of sponge tip applicators, so this applicator is really of no use to me. It seems a little flimsy to and don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing since i never use sponge tip applicators to apply my eyeshadows.

So in conclusion, i highly recommend this palette for anybody looking for a neutral everyday wearable look who isn't looking for to much shimmer but not matte either. I would most definitely purchase another one of these if i ever run out. I do plan on purchasing more of these palettes in different colors since i am very happy with this purchase. NYX also offers these palettes in other colors, so be sure to check those out as well. Since this is my only one (so far) i can only do a PR on the one. Hope this was helpful :)

I know on my last entry i stated that i would be back shortly and that "shortly" ended up being 6 months later. First and foremost, i would like to apologize to all my blog followers. Autopsy.

We received the autopsy report today. I think honestly it may have been better of personally if i didn't know the full details. It's such a horrible act that i don't think i should broadcast this information to the public. For those of you who would like to know ; please don't hesitate to email me. I find it easier to cope with "talking" about it rather than keeping it all inside.

I only hope they catch this f*#&!s who did this. I hope they rot in hell and pay so severely that they would have wished they never did what they did. They will get caught even if it takes my lifetime to find the justice my family deserves. But these individuals better know what's coming to them and i hope they suffer in their sleep and know that they got another thing coming to them.

For those of you who kept up to date with my previous post about my Grandmother gone missing ; we've finally ended up with some closure. Last night, her remains were found in the woods on a mountain behind my cousin's condo. After a little over 3 months ; we've finally found her.

Although we don't know much details since the autopsy report hasn't came back yet ; the police have determined that she died probably the night or a couple days after she had gone missing. Her remains were nothing but skeletal ; due to the cold weather and rain and snow they've been getting over in Korea. A hiker found her cell phone and kindly charged it and called the last number dialed which was my Auntie & Uncle notifying that they found it. Search & Rescue set out to the location where the cell phone was retrieved and found the remains of my Grandmother. Her purse was scattered with all of her identification next to the body and the clothes she last wore remained intact. Based on circumstantial evidence, they believe that a stabbing had occurred but cannot determine the exact details until the autopsy report comes back.

After 3 months of agonizing fear and stress ; wondering if she was suffering, wondering if she was okay, we've finally are received some closure. At least we know where she now and can only pray that she's in a happier place.

I smile today because i remember the best times i had with her. I smile today because she would want me to. But watching the family break down especially 2 days before Christmas is the hardest. If only i could have seen her one last time before this happened ; i would tell her a numerous amount of times how much i love her.

She's gone and i'll accept that ; but right now - it's the process of healing. I've cried, and i'll continue to cry - but i'll remind myself that these will be happy tears ; because she no longer is suffering. She's in a better place and i can only ask for the best for her and everything she's gone through. Her tough life is over and no matter what ; we'll find the bastards that did this and they will pay.

Foundation Color.

If any of you guys are like me, then you know that getting color matched for foundations, powders, etc. is so much harder than it should be. After several attempts, i always get matched with the WRONG color. For years MAC Makeup Artists at my local Nordstrom's matched me with NW when i don't even have a pink undertone - making me give off that "orange-ish" color. So after years of failed attempts, i quit wearing foundation all together. Then i decided to join the mineral band wagon and went to Bare Escentuals and got color matched. Wrong color again. I mean don't get me wrong - it's not like it was wrong at the store - it looked GREAT there, but when i get home and do it myself it just wasn't right. No matter what lighting i went to it just wasn't it. So once again, i gave up on foundation all together.

But recently, i went back to MAC to get color matched and this time my make-up artist was amazing. Not only did she tell me whoever matched me earlier was retarded - but i wasn't an NW shade but an NC shade. Uhmm hello?! I am Asian and most of us have yellow undertones right?! So she went on and on about how it's a lot harder to match asians and apologized but wanted to make sure i left happy. So i left with a bottle of NC30 and a sample of NC25. Both suit well but the NC30 is more for a summer color for me since i tend to tan a little then. So here's my question:

I'm a NC20 - NC25: What drugstore colors would match me the best?

I know this is a lot easier said than done - but if any of you lovelies are my color ; could you send me some pointers? I would love to try drug store brands but everytime i buy then i get it way to dark or way to light and end up just throwing it out.

I heard that in Revlon i would be a Buff or a Sand Beige, but i want real users to help educate me :) Thanks!

Claims: Highly pigmented shades, all shadows can also be applied wet for a deeper longer lasting effect. The compact case makes it easy for storing and traveling. The colors do not have a ton of shimmer in them if this is what you are looking for, you can always dust shimmer over top as I did in the above photo. It is nearly a 50 50 mix of matte and satin with slight shimmer.
The case has a matte surface and measures 9" x 6.5" (23 cm x 16.5 cm) closed, The pots are Dime Size around and contain plenty of powder for many excessive uses.

My Opinion: For the price, Coastal Scents offers a lot. I use this on a daily basis but honestly i should of gotten the 88 Warm Palette instead since i don't use much "color". But regardless, at least i have every color offered. It's well worth the money but shipping was high, the only downfall to this purchase.

The colors offers a really nice mixture of a matte and satin finish. They're highly pigmented but does have some fall-out when applying. I normally pat this on before i start sweeping to prevent excess fall out. This is another one of my HG items. If you haven't already picked yourself up one of these, i highly recommend it.

I would rather purchase this than buy individual MAC colors since i don't wear colors much. It's great for artistry use and also if you follow YouTube Guru's, a lot of them use this palette in their tutorials.

My Opinion: Now i've always been a Costco shopper since i can even remember, but never really ventured into their cosmetics. I remember when they first came out and my mom bought me a lotion from them that was "okay" so i basically steered clear of their line. After going to Costco to pick up some Diapers & Wipes, i stopped by to the cosmetic aisle to check our their Strivectin and this caught my eye. $20.00 is a STEAL for a complete brush set. The look of these brushes also look pretty expensive so i told myself why not try it. Now i know Costco offers these brushes and comes out with a new set every year, but this is my first year purchasing it. What can i say?

I absolutely freaking love love love these brushes! They don't shed, they didn't even smell when i first opened it. They're so so so soft and dense and are perfect. I know i will be purchasing all of their brushes each year they come out with it from now on.

The only negative i could find is that they dirty easily because of the white bristles. But it helps encourage you to keep your brushes clean - so i guess you can see this in a negative and positive light.

I highly recommend all of you new and experienced makeup users to pick up a set. It's well worth the $20.00 and honestly i don't believe you would have any regret.

Cute bottle - Very simple & clean.
Oil-Free.

Cons:

Pricey.

My Opinion: I've been an avid MAC Prep & Prime user and never ventured outside of what works for me, but i can say that i absolutely love and adore this product. Not only does it do what it claims, it's not heavy like MAC's P&P and has no glitter or shimmer to it either.

They suggest to use 1 pump but honestly i think that's TO much. I use only half a pump and it covers my face completely. It works really well to fill in lines, wrinkles, and even acne crater scares. So much better than what MAC's P&P was doing for me. As you can see it's virtually invisible & no oily sheen, glitter, nothing! Just a smooth canvas.

Comes in a variety of tints - i went with the original and do not regretting this purchase at all. I first started off with a tester and loved it so much that instead of repurchasing my MAC's P&P i ventured to splurge an additional $11 to get this one. Well worth every penny though. The only downsize i see that it's pricey and wish i would be roughly the same price as MAC's P&P but that's just wishful thinking.

I highly recommend foundation users to use this. It works really well under Mineral Powder Foundations as well. Saves you some money in your pocket instead of having to go purchase an additional primer for just your mineral side. This is definitely an item i have added to my HG list.

Black Friday.

I know i'm not the only one who enjoys a great deal - so Black Friday was my day. It's that time of the year where you can get some of the best deals ever and usually for only a few hours. This year was a little different - i saw a lot of Black Friday sales starting early and lasting for weeks instead of just a day. Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me - but none the less it was something i took advantage of.

First stop - i went to Seattle Premium Outlet in Marysville (Why it's called that and not even located in Seattle beats me :\). Wasn't planning on getting anything except for my daughter's stuff - because Carter's entire store was 50% off - so it was that time for me to stock up on her years worth of clothes. Ended up doing what i planned to do - but since i did go to the Outlet with my Mommy, i went with her to all the stores she wanted to see. We ended up in Kenneth Cole and was browsing when the huge sale sign above the winter coats caught our eye.

Now the best part of this is the price. Normally priced at $280.00 (Uhmm yeah... Noooo way!) It was marked down all the way to $129.00 (Okay... getting better!). Still it was pricey for my taste - but as we were about to walk out a sales associate announces that everything in the store is an additional 41% off everything! So you can guess what we did - we turned right around, digged through the crowd and grabbed our sizes. Unfortunately they didn't have an XS for me so i got the smallest that they had which was a medium. Yeah i will be exchanging it when they get more in stock. So for about $70.00 i got me a real nice & warm winter jacket. Now that's what i call bargain / deal shopping!

Then we ended up going to Famous Footwear just to see what deals they had there. Nothing impressive but since i love warm furry boots, i went straight to that section. Now i've noticed you either love em or you hate em - but i'm more about the feel and comfort and warmth these give me.

I honestly can say i love Bear Paw. Even though every girl who loves boots / shoes like these prefer UGGs, i still think that Bear Paw offers really good quality in their shoes. I own boots from them also and love the quality and durability they offer. Plus they're like 50% cheaper than UGGs! Call me cheap but i prefer these honestly - but i would never turn down a pair of UGGs. Well these were normally $56.00 but they offered them for an additional 30% and then another 20% off. Deals right?

Even though i only ended up getting 2 items, well worth the effort and time to go out in that chaotic scene. I love what i bought and have no guilt lingering because the pricing was so good i couldn't say no :)

A few weeks ago, i decided it was time to spoil myself. With the pre-thanksgiving sales and prepping for black friday, my local stores were throwing out some great deals. So i couldn't pass these up for nothing. It's nothing major but glad that i actually got to "splurge" on items without really "splurging" you know?

Absolutely love this Juicy purse. Now i've never owned anything Juicy since i've always been an avid Coach & Louis Vuitton lover, but seeing the markdowns on this and loving the Hobo style, i couldn't pass this offer up.I went to my local Nordstrom's Rack and saw this right as i walked in. Comes in other colors but i needed a new brown purse and decided to opt out on getting the brown wallet - instead i got the pink. Now the best part of this ; it was all 50% OFF! Talk about a savings!

Of course, the purse and wallet are made of their signature fabric and i'm very skeptical of it getting dirty since i do have a 14 month old who loves to get herself dirty and touch my things, but this isn't an everyday purse for me. But none the less love the deal!

I have always had issues with jeans. I love jeans and couldn't live without them. But i am real skinny. So skinny that i can wear kids size, but here's the major problem:

I'm to TALL for kid sizes, and i'm to skinny for adult sizes. I've tried everything and could never find jeans that fit my thighs, butt, hips, and waist perfectly. But low and behold - i tried on a pair of Hollister jeans thinking it would be the same as every other pair of jeans i tried on but they fit in all the areas i needed! So since then - i always purchase my jeans from Hollister. They're a great fit for slimmer body types and range in sizes. They're 0's fit like real 0's and so forth. They have all types of fits and styles and are really durable and comfortable. Well worth the money, and the best part is my 2 favorite lines (Cali & Venice) were on sale for 30% off! Normally $50.00 a pair so i jumped on it while i could. After having a baby, my hips got wider but my waist got smaller; ironic i know. But these still fit like a champ and i'm still in love with these jeans!

Now i've been a user of MAC's Prep & Prime for years and never ventured outside of my comfort zone when it came to things that really worked for me. But after getting a sample of Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer, i decided maybe it was time to move on to bigger & better things. Ended up hitting my local Nordstroms and picked me up a bottle of this HG primer. Yeah it's more on the expensive side but honestly it's worth every penny. I love the texture, it's not lotion-y like MAC's P&P, and feels so smooth. In my opinion, i feel as if it works better also, filling in all my acne scars to create a smooth canvas. I want to try the other primers they offer; like color correcting and stuff like that.

Thank you all - i have reached a 100 followers and counting! It's been awhile but i finally got the chance to post some entries with pictures. I'm constantly on my NetBook so that means no Photoshop so i can't resize, watermark, and edit pictures. But i finally decided to step away from homework and write up an entry. Finally! I know - thank you to everybody who follows me and understands my situation right now.

I have decided not to attend winter quarter because right now, we need money. Meaning, i have to study extra hard for my PTCB test for Pharmacy, and then get the ball rolling for job hunting. So i got 3 more weeks of this quarter and then i'll have a little more free time until i find a job again.

Anyways, off to the topic. I was the 2nd place winner for Joanna's Makeup Contest! The point of the contest was to create a look that represents and shows off the Chicago Cubs colors (Orange & Blue). So i went ahead and entered since i've never done a make-up contest. I had a lot of fun doing it because not only did i get to practice my make-up techniques, but also had an excuse to play with colors in my Coastal Scents 88 Palette that i normally wouldn't touch. I decided to opt out of doing some dramatic because of a few reasons:

I don't have that much experience and was honestly a little scared to even try.
I wanted to create an "everyday" type of feel. For those who don't want to go dramatic.
I wanted to show that you can achieve a lot from just a little.

So when Joanna told me i won 2nd place i was super excited. It was my first time winning anything! I was super excited and proud of myself because there were so many good entries and girls who have so much more experience than me that i didn't even think i had a chance.

For those of you who don't follow me on Twitter, i decided to post a blog on my little space here on the net. I decided this because we need as much support and help as we can get. But before going further, please note that this is very personal and upsetting. I don't appreciate hard criticism and expect anybody who has anything negative to say, to just not even post it. I'm on the verge to b*tch slapping somebody due to all the anger, stress, and tension i'm consumed of right now.

A month and a half ago, my Grandma went missing. Now she doesn't live here in the states, but moved back to Korea when i was 16. She is very close to me and my family here and mean the world to us. I am only now posting this because i found out about this only last Sunday. My family there decided to keep us from the worry and helplessness we would face since we're over here and they're over there - hence why we didn't know right away. Their hopes were to find her and then tell us about what happened after finding her. But back to reality ; she is still missing.

Police has categorized this as a kidnapping. 4 local elderly women in her area have gone missing, and 1 was found dead. They believe this may become some type of a Serial Killer, but cannot go on that lead or anything at the moment since only 1 body was found and the 3 (including my Grandma) are still missing.

They have no leads, have no idea which direction to go. They only have footage from a CCTV on a bus that she got on and got off at her apartment. But her trace goes cold there. They don't have any evidence that she even entered her apartment that night. They checked the GPS on her cellphone and tracked it for 2 days leading up to the country side in Korea (Busan) where she originally grew up, but after day 2, they assume her phone had died and we can no longer get pings from her cell phone. She only carries her debit card and change for the bus. She also has a food stamp card. There has been NO activity on it since the day she went missing. She doesn't carry cash with her at all (just enough for bus fare), so we have no idea how she would be surviving without money. She was last seen wearing summer clothes and the days there are getting extremely cold. We are worried sick she's in bad health due to the clothing and no money situation.

15 days after she went missing, an anonymous call came from a pay phone. Nobody said anything on the other line and hung up. The number that showed up on my Aunt's caller id was sent to the police who found it was a few blocks from where my Grandma lives and it was a pay phone.

Since then, the police have nothing to go by and they are becoming less hopeful in finding her. She's been broad casted all over the media, newspapers, and missing persons ad's all over Korea.

My Grandma is a strong women. She would never walk away from this family. She is loved by all 6 of her kids (including my Mother), and all 9 of her grandchildren, and her 1 great-granddaughter.

If anybody in Korea has any information, please contact your local police to inform them of anything you may know. All police stations in South Korea have been notified and are all aware of the case.

My family asks for anybody and every bodies support and prayer in finding her safe return. We've accepted the fact that the worst could have happened, but at least bring her home to let her rest in peace with us. Each day gets harder and harder to focus for everybody and with this being so fresh to me, it's hard to function, focus, and do daily tasks.

So i ask anybody who reads this, please pray for my Grandma, for my family, and for the safe return of my Grandma.

I've been longing to blog - but just can't find the time. School and baby has got me all tied up. Especially since she got really sick with Croup 3 weeks ago - and then was and is suffering from serious constipation and throwing up. Her pediatrician says it could be a stomach virus but i just don't understand how she's catch anything when she's always home and nobody else has brought anything like that home.

I've been sleeping restlessly at night from worrying and her waking up every 2 hours. I seriously want to pull my hair out. Let alone - i finally got to take a shower (gross i know) and i cried because i was so happy.

Sorry if this post made no sense. I just needed to type some frustration out. Be back soon - i'm trying to catch up on homework and finish up my projects. I can't wait until i get a day to myself to just blog the sh*t out of me.

Swine Flu.

Today, my daughter and i was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. Based on my symptoms, they assessed me and her over the phone and told me that i had it. No testing, no going into the doctors office. Nothing. Just a 2 minute rundown on what i had and what i felt & they were so quick to tell me it was H1N1.

Am i nervous? F*ck yeah!

My daughter turns 1 next Monday, so we postponed her birthday until God knows when. It breaks my heart knowing that for her 1st birthday, she's going to be stuck at home with the Swine Flu. We tried to avoid our little booger from catching anything from us, but since we live in a huge house with tons of people - it was hard to tell everybody to clean up after themselves. We were strict - we said no kissing her, disinfect after your done eating, coughing, sneezing, etc., and pick up your mess. But it only goes so far when everybody does their "own" thing here.

It started with Seth's youngest sister coming home sick from school (middle school) that is. I helped take care of her the first few days and low and behold - i got sick last Friday. By Saturday i was dying all the way up til Sunday night. Today i woke up feeling a lot better and went to school thinking my "cold" passed - but when i was there i felt horrible. Came home & saw my daughter was flowing with snot and coughing here and there so i called her Pediatrician and that's when they told us our diagnosis.

Now here's my symptoms:

Body Aches
Chills
Headache
Fever
Running / Stuffy Nose
Diarrhea
Sore Throat
Coughing
Raspy Voice / Lost Voice
Fatigue

Does this not sound like just the common flu to you? I normally believe what my daughter's Pediatrician says and my own Doctor, but i'm just not completely "sure" that this is H1N1. After researching it i found that all the symptoms i have it what Swine is - but i guess the Media hyped it up to be so much worse. Don't get me wrong - i was so sick, barely able to get out of bed for 2 days, and still recovering - but to me ; this feels just like a really really really bad cold. Call me crazy - but i'm not worried ; only for my daughter but she's a trooper. She's still acting normal - running around, playing, screaming, and laughing - minus the fact that she has all of my symptoms from what i can see / tell.

But no worries. We'll be fine because H1N1 is scary and no fun - but seriously ; it's not as bad as the media plays it to be.

Birthday Gifts & Hauls.

Thank you to everybody who stuck with me during my Hiatus. It truly means a lot. I know i've been M.I.A. - since the start of school, being a mother, homework, and the little time i had on my hands i had to take a break to get back on track before my blog could be maintained. But i'm back and will be blogging as much as possible - but i doubt it can be a daily thing until everything starts t ease up. Now for my mini mini mini MAC haul. I decided to go to Nordstroms again since i needed to pick me up a concealer. Also my saleslady was so nice she gave me free samples (generous amounts) of Paint Pot in Bare Study & Select SPF15 Liquid Foundation in NC25. She also rematched me to my color. Now i've been a MAC user since i first started using makeup like 10 years ago. Everytime i've gone they've told me time & time again that i'm an NC30. To bad i'm not. Everytime i go home with the product, it's the same thing. It's to dark for me. But i end up keeping it and it just goes to waste. Then i go back to get rematched and it's the same. Looks great in the store but when i'm home it's not. Finally i get Robin, my salelady who told me she felt so bad that i never got my right shade, so she rematched me and gave me the sample to take home before making the purchase. I have yet to use it since i haven't gone anywhere but i'm pretty sure this time i found my actual color. Now i gotta go back & return my NC30 for my NC25. Sheesh!

Last but not least - my EOS Lip Balm came in! I was super excited since i've been waiting for it & really wanted to try it. I will be doing a PR for this but just to spoil it a little i actually really like this! So stay tuned for that :)

That's it for my Birthday & Haul. I had a very small dinner with very close friends (my daughter's god parents) at my Mom's Restaurant. It was nice to get together and just enjoy company from the most loved friends of ours. But since my Princess Month is over, a new one starts. My daughter's. I can't believe it's less than 2 weeks and my little bunny is going to be 1 years old. She's growing so fast & it breaks my heart - but everyday she does something new to make me smile.

I'm a very "neutral" eye person. Even though my previous EOTD's are colorful, it's only been for "practicing" i never go out with eyeshadows that vivid. It makes me nervous - since i'm still a newb. So i'm very big on neutral colors and what not. Here is one of my daily looks when i go out. This is my shimmery neutral and works great for everyday. My girl Lariza, ended up passing me over 3 E.L.F. items to add to my slowly growing collection. Isn't she so sweet! She had a couple of extras just laying around so she passed them to me since she knows that i am becoming fond of E.L.F. I have yet to try these colors but from my last Eye Brightening Eyeshadows, i love the pigment and find these shadows to be pretty good quality for the price.

Growing Sprout.

It's amazing how time flies when you have a little one. It seems as if i just gave birth yesterday - today i blinked and realized that in less then a month, my little sprout will be one.

Talk about time flying by - it's amazing how i was able to stay home with her and watch her grow and take her "first" every things. From eating, to talking, to even walking now. She just melts my heart.

I wasn't ready for her. After 2 at home pregnancy tests and a doctor's confirmation - i was still in a dazed state. Not wanting to accept the truth. Watching the rest of my "freedom" flash before my eyes. I was selfish then - selfish to even think i would be capable to take care of another human being let alone myself. But as my pregnancy progressed and my belly grew, i knew i had made the "best" decision of my life. As my pregnancy was coming close to an end - i never pictured myself to have a hard labor at all. It was very very long and hard to deal with and with all the stuff i was hearing from the "grandparents" scared me: "Oooo you're having a hard labor and delievery she's going to be a hard baby to take care of..." But were they all wrong.

She's my little miss independent. My shining star. She has been by far the easiest to take care - barely crying and always happy. I pictured the first year to be so much harder but she made life easy for me since she was so hard on me during my labor.

Like most of you know - i'm a newbie with eyeshadows. I'm still in the process of learning how to blend - so if i did a bad job, i probably did. But honestly ; i'm very proud of the outcome. I wanted to do something dramatic but ended up fooling myself because i'm no pro when it comes to eyeshadow so i just tried to do something simple but vibrant enough to even be considered for an entry in a makeup contest. I know the picture doesn't do any justification but there is a hint of white in the middle, i hope you guys can see that. But i really enjoyed playing with this and creating this look.

My Rating: 0 out of 5 Stars (Absolutely Hated it - Will never purchase again!)

Pros:

Cute Handle

Cons:

Doesn't pick up makeup like a brush should.
Very very very rough.
After cleaning & conditioning, got even worse.
Sheds continuously.
Brush Hairs are everywhere even when placed in Brush Guard.
Feels SUPER cheap.

My Opinion: I own a few other Estee Lauder brushes that i absolutely love, but this brush in particular is horrid. I can't believe this was ever even sold and still is around on Ebay & Amazon. It's horrible. I do not recommend anybody to buy this, and if you already have one - i'm pretty sure you did what i did & tossed it. I actually had to dig this out of my garbage because i thought a review on this would be good - to protect my lovelies :). I am big on brushes, i own all types of brands so i would consider myself pretty "knowledgeable" about face brushes. When i say this is the worst brush i ever used, there is no joke in that. So save yourself the money and don't even bother. You can get yourself a nice MAC or Stila brush for the price of one of these.

After hearing great rants about MAC's Fluidline, i decided to pick myself up one to test it. I've been a liquid eyeliner user for years - and when i say years i mean 10+ years. I guess it's my signature look, the winged out eyeliner. If you know me personally - then you know you'll never see me without it. So i wanted to do a PR on this for the lovelies out there who haven't picked one of these up for themselves yet or is skeptical.

MAC FLUIDLINE EYE-LINER GEL
Purchased @ MAC ($15.00)

Claims: Ultra-smooth, Fluidline’s gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish. Goes on “foolproof” with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. Long-wearing. Smudge-proof. Lines up in a rich array of colours and finishes.

My Rating: Loved it - Will purchase time & time again).

How to Use: Dip brush into gel-liner and apply to upper and lower lids.

Pros:

Smudgeproof
Waterproof
Buildable
Easy to blend when still wet.
Lasts all day long
No creasing

Cons:

NONE!

My Opinion: I am a dedicated user now, i am so in love with this product and will be purchasing a lot more in the future. I was skeptical at first just because i always creases in the inner corner of my eyes, but when i say this doesn't crease - that's not a lie. I love the smooth application and love that if i don't want it to be to dark i can apply a little of it to do a smokey effect. If you do decide to go for this - i do recommend that you PRACTICE with an eyeliner brush because it's not like applying liquid eyeliner with a sponge tip pen. I even use this on my lower lash line and waterline just because it's so waterproof and doesn't smear at all. But this is a must have product for me. absolutely worth every penny and since you don't use a lot at all - i can see this lasting a very long time.

I have no idea what to title this so i'll just call it my Pink, Orange, & Yellow look. If you don't know me personally, i don't really wear eyeshadow, more or less even color. I'm very neutral & plain jane when it comes to my eyeshadows just because i'm not very good at applying it.

So after getting my Coastal Scents 88 Palette, i decided that i would play with the colors since i figured - they'd go untouched unless i forced myself to try them.

So here's what i used. This is only for my eyes, so if you want to know info about my eyebrows or face i can post that too :)

As i was browsing the E.L.F. website and filling up my shopping cart for a future purchase, i decided to check out the store locater link. I filled in the info & suprise suprise - They actually carry E.L.F. at my local Big Lots. I literrally live only 2 minutes from it so i had to check it out. When i got there, i realized that they wouldn't carry much & to my assumptions i was right. They barely had anything but i ended up picking up a few things just to test it myself since i've never used E.L.F. except for their nail polish (thanks to my girl Lariza). Now the pricing is almost the same as the online website, but priced up a little more on a few items. But i still got more than what i paid for & saved money in the process. Which is always a plus :)

For those of you who don't follow me on my twitter, then you don't know it's officially Princess Month. Call me spoiled - but the whole month of September is dedicated to my birthday :) - Even though it isn't til the 26th, this is my month to get my ways and do it my way only. Now i've never heard of her or this brand but after reading and viewing reviews on her and getting some background history - i was really impressed with the decission Seth had made. Most of you are probably wondering WHERE i disappeared to. If you didn't know - i officially joined the Twilight Bandwagon. I finished the entire Saga in only a week & is literally hooked. I never ever thought i would be a groupie of a fictitious person / group but i am & it's funny to me. I'm almost freakin' 24 for crying out loud!

But anyways, since i'm done and so sad that it has ended, i'll be back to my normal blogging routine. More reviews on the way! So stay tuned :)

I just wanted to thank all my Followers or should i say my Lovlies <3 - I can't believe i've made it to 50! I never thought i would would even get past 10, and i know i don't go to every single one of your pages to say thank you - but i do want each and everyone of you ladies and gentlemen out there that i do appreciate the follow.

This only inspires me to do more. More product reviews, more hauls, and importantly more blog posts period! So thank you, each and everyone of you guys out there. I appreciate it so much!

Seems like i've been on an Estee Lauder spree, but this is just by coincidence. I swear!

Estee Lauder - Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
Freebie from Nordstroms (Gifted with a purchase) Normally: ($15.50)

Claims: This gentle, lightweight formula works quickly and gently to thoroughly remove powder eye shadow and other eye makeup. Sweeps away without leaving any oily residue—so you can reapply eye makeup immediately after use. Oil-free formula won't damage delicate skin. Perfect for all skin types. Suitable for contact lens wearers. Ophthalmologist tested.
My Rating: 0 out of 5 stars (Absolutely Hated it - Will never purchase again!)

How to Use: Sweep over closed eyelid with cotton pad. Wait a few seconds, then wipe gently downward. Follow with your cleanser and toning lotion.

Pros:

Cute bottle ? I guess...

Cons:

Burns Eyes
Left them extra oily even after cleansing
Didn't remove all my makeup
Had to SCRUB to get waterproof eyeliner & mascara off
Had to reuse over and over again for clean eyes

My Opinion: This product did not work for me at all. I honestly have no idea how anybody uses this and likes it. The second i put it on my lids and over my lashes, i felt a little burn. Right when i started to wipe the product off, it burned even more. It left me super teary eyed and when i finally go most of the product off and opened my eyes, it was still there! It took me literally 4 attempts to get it off and even after that it still wasn't fully off so i went and grabbed my Clinique and removed the rest. I didn't even attempt on my other eye. I do not recommend anybody to use this unless they love having their eyes burned and tears for the rest of the night. This is a horrible product & can't believe that it's honestly still on the market and 'safe'. Horrible. Horrible Horrible. It was sweet of the sales lady to give me 5 of the bottles for free - but i'm just going to throw them away. Not even worth passing it to somebody since it's such a painful product :\

So basically this is a follow up product of my earlier review on Estee Lauder's Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser. So if you have dry skin & are looking for a good cleanser - check out that review. Anywho... On with the review!

Estee Lauder - Soft Clean Silky Hydrating Lotion
Purchased @ Macy's ($19.50)

Claim: Luxurious creme foams into a moisture-rich lather to gently clean, calm and soften skin. This innovative formula help preserve skin's moisture barrier, as they add hydration and conditioners. A soothing botanical blend calms and softens, for Dry Skin.
Contains: Passion Flower & Edelweiss (Soothing Extracts)
My Rating: 4 out of 5 (Liked it alot - May purchase again).

How to Use: Apply using Cotton Pad. (In my case, poor small amount into hand, pat hands together and pat onto face with like stroking movements from the center outwards.)

Pros:

Smells so good - Rosey scents
Smooth like it states
Very light weight
Once it's absorbed - skin feels very fresh & smooth

Cons:

Not a big 'liquid' moisturizer user.

My Opinion: The only reason i gave this a 4 out of 5 stars is i'm not a very big 'liquid' moisturizer user. I prefer mine to be creamy so it allows me to dot my face and spread that way. I use this product every night and only at night with followed by my SC Cleanser, and will use it in the daytime if i need a fresh pick me up. This leaves my skin super soft and dry free and is NOT oily which makes this a great product. I love the texture of it once it dries because a lot of other liquid moisturizers i've used left my face feeling a little sticky, and this one doesn't. Another great product for girls with the dry skin.

Estee Lauder - Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser
Purchased @ Macy's ($19.00)

My Rating: 5 out of 5 (Loved it - Will purchase time & time again).

How to Use: Use about a dime size amount and massage onto dry skin. Tissue off.

Pros:

Smells so good - Rosey scents
Very gentle & soothing.
Not heavy or cakey.
Large bottle (4.2 Fl. Oz) - Worth the price.

Cons:

Not a 'true' cleanser - No water required.
Can make you oily in the day.

My Opinion: This product worked so well for my dry skin. I can get very dry around the nose area and t-zone. After cleansing my face with my normal wash, i massage this on my face & use a kleenex to wipe off the excess. Not only does it smell wonderful and makes your face soft instantly - You can feel the soothing begin right away. I use this product only at night since i need the hydration mostly then. I avoid using this during the day since it can cause you to become oily during the day. It's perfect for a night time regime. I follow this with the Soft Skin Silk Hydrating Lotion (will PR later). Not only did this work the first night i used it but is still working for me & it's been a little over 2 months. I've only used a quarter of the bottle so it's well worth the money since you really don't need to much of this product. I highly recommend this for anybody with dry skin.

Like i stated in a few of my previous posts, i really want to do product reviews but i have a question to all my followers. I have used numerous amounts of products and trust me - there is a lot that i love and a lot that i do hate also. I want to be honest about my opinions & give you my viewpoints on what worked and didn't work for me. Of course this is only my opinion and should not to subject any harm / negativity towards the brand / product - but only to tell my followers what worked and didn't work for me.

Ended up shopping again. But please don't get the impression that i'm always shopping, because in all honesty - i don't. After having my daughter, our budget is tight and we don't spend to much on ourselves since it usually goes all to my daughter or family events. But since i had the money & was in desperate need of some new clothes, i decided to pick me up a couple of things. Sorry this entry is super short & not much to show, but it's something!

HARAJUKU LOVERS T-SHIRT - $14.97
I'm not big on screen tee's like i use to be & i'm definetly not a big fan at 'promoting' the branded name for the company - but this shirt was so cute & cheap! I couldn't resist. This is actually my first Harajuku Lover's item ever purchased. The t-shirt is very soft & i love that it's long. If you don't know - i'm a huge fan of long tanks, shirts, jacket, etc. So just wanted to show you the shirt & all the cuteness it comes with :)

PINK ROSE PLAID BUTTON UP SHIRT / DRESS - ~~$48.00~~ $22.97
Love love loveeeee this shirt. It's so versitle. I can wear this as a shirt - open or closed, pair it with jeans or some leggings, and even as a dress. It comes with a wrap around belt and has the cutest sleeves. It's form fitting and very casual but you can play with it to even make it more girly. I've seen that plaid has been the trend lately but never jumped on the bandwagon since a lot of the plaid shirts like this have ruffles and all that other girly crap (which i'm NOT into) so when i saw this & saw that it was very simple i HAD to get it. Loooove it! Will pair nicely with my new Steve Madden Boots!

That's it! Yeah i know 2 items, nothing special but i'm very happy with my purchases today. No more hauls for me for awhile. Daddy Seth thinks i spend to much :)

My FIRST Haul.

After a whole morning of boredom, i decided to get out & get active. I didn't plan on going to the mall at all, but decided eh - why not. So i round up the family and called my Mom to see if she wanted to go since Sunday is her only day off & she never goes anywhere. So off to the mall we went & i ended up getting way more than i planned. So here it is - my FIRST HAUL post! Hope you all enjoy! Please note that this is very photo heavy. MAC SELECT LIQUID FOUNDATION (NC30) @ NORDSTROMS ($26.00)
It was time for me to get some new foundation since i was running low. I've been using Studio Tech for years - it was actually the first makeup product i got from my dear Mama & have been a MAC user since - so a rough estimate of 10 years. I've been playing with different types of foundations: cream, liquid, and powder to see what works best for me now and so far it's either liquid or cream depending on the weather. I was actually going to try the Revlon Colorstay, but unfortunately my local drug store didn't even carry it. So instead i got my MAC. I've yet to try this one, so i'll see how i like it. Review for this will be posted :)

MAC FIX+ @ NORDSTROMS - ($18.00)
I've heard nothing but great stuff about this also. It can be used before makeup application & after to set your makeup. I've seen a few YouTube Guru's try this & decided that it was time to jump up on the bandwagon and try it out myself. So i picked this up. I've yet to try it but when i do - i'll mos def do a review on it since i haven't been able to really find any :)

PALLADIO RICE POWDER (NATURAL) @ NORDSTROMS RACK - ($5.00)
I decided to purchase this since Palladio is known for their Herbal & Vitamin enriched products. I've been looking for a translucent powder / makeup setter and decided to try this out since it was cheap & more appealing to me than those harsh chemical filled products. So far so good - but i honestly don't recommend this for dry skin because it only enhances the dryness of it. As long as you moisturize really good - this is a pretty good product & blends very very very easily.

TOO FACED BEAUTY BALM (CHOCOLATE BUNNY) @ NORDSTROMS RACK - ($11.00)
So the best part about this, is since i want to Nordstroms Rack, i got this for only $2.97! For those of you who don't know, Too Faced has been discontinued at Nordstroms except for their Insurance Primer. So when i saw this there, i had to get it. I honestly wouldn't buy this if it was full price, but since it was cheap i couldn't resist. I love it, it's very sheer but gives you that hint of color that you need & smells / tastes soooo good!

MAC FLUIDLINE (BLACK TRACK) @ NORDSTROMS - ($15.00)
I've been a really big fan and longtime user of MAC's Liquid Eyeliner, but never tried the fluidline. I've heard / seen great things about it & wanted to finally give it a chance. Since my signature look is the cat eye / wing look - i can't live without eyeliner. Using the eyeliner brush isn't as easy for me as the liner wands but i'm getting the hang of it! I love how vibrant and smudgeproof it is. Waterproof was a plus for me!

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler @ Nordstroms ($19.00)

The best thing about this, is i got it FREE! The lady at the counter was so nice & loved my Mom so much that she gave this to me for free as a gift & also fell in love with my daughter. I never say no to a free offer, plus i like the fact that this cleanser type of makeup remover with toner. Talk about a 3-in-1 deal! I love the fact that it has an ultra-concentrated radiance boost - white tea. Pure love. I haven't tried it yet, but who doesn't love Dior?!

STEVE MADDEN TYLLER BOOTS (BLACK SUEDE) @ NORDSTROMS - ($79.95)
I am major sucker for boots. I love them all so when i saw that Nordstroms were showcasing there boots again, i decided to pick up my pair. I haven't tried this style since i'm more of the 'Ugg Style' type of girl - but this is a lot more girly & chic for me. But then again, my style is starting to become more 'girly' since i've become a Mother. These are super comfy but the only downfall is that i have very skinny legs so i have a lot of space around my calf area. But as long as i pair these with some skinny jeans - i should have no problem. We'll see!

So since i've been M.I.A. & haven't had a chance to really do much - i've been behind on all my blogs (reading / posting). But since i actually found a few minute to squeeze in some me time, i decided to come spend it on my blog. 1) I am overly organized. I'm talking about everything and anything has it's own place. I hate having things cluttered or scattered around my house - so i'm always putting things in a super neat order. Seth says it's my OCD because i flip when things aren't where they should be. My clothes are categorized by color, style, & season. My shoes are the same. My makeup has to be stacked and according to color, shade, size, brand, and area of use. Talk about things becoming tedious around here! That's just a brief synopsis of my how it is around me, so claim yourself lucky not to be my man.

2) I come off as a bitch, because i am a bitch. Easily put. If you don't know me in person - then it's going to be harder for you to understand this. Most of my friends tell me that when they first met me, they thought i was a bitch. Just based on first impression, i guess it's the eyebrows LOL. Any who, i'm either a love me or hate me person because once i get to know you & like you - i'm the sweetest in the world. But if you cross me the wrong way - i'll become your worst enemy. Call it shallow but i have no tolerance for bullshit nor do i have the time for it.

3) I have come to conclusions that i am afraid of my emotions. I don't like to talk about my feelings or express things like a 'normal' person should - i like to keep everything bottled inside which is not a good thing since it's played a huge problem in my relationship. I'm learning to overcome it slowly - but it's not as easy as it sounds. I like to walk away from it and bury it deep down inside and pretend it's not there. Sad i know, but that's how i learned to 'cope'.

4) I'm blunt. I say it how i see it and it's gotten me in trouble a lot of times. It can be a good thing if you're asking for an honest opinion but sometimes i need to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

5) I am not a lovey-dovey type of person. I don't like kissing and hugging on a 24/7 basis. I'm fine just by myself. I don't need my man to hold my hand in public nor do i need him to tell me that he loves me everyday because i already know he does. So you can also say i'm not a PDA type of person.

6) This is probably by far the funniest, i am violent. Physically & verbally. I have a mouth piece that needs to check itself sometimes. If you know me in person - then you know what i mean by the physical part. LOL!

7) Lastly, i am very trust-worthy. I can keep a secret and if you ask me to do something, i'll do it. I keep my word on everything i say and avoid 'gossip' since it only starts drama & i hate drama. So if you got a secret to tell ; come to me - i'll be your diary :)

I've been on the hunt for a good eye cream, & i think i have finally found it. This is not a review since i haven't had a chance to actually toy with it yet - but after i use it for awhile, i may do a review.

For me - i like what i was looking for is the following:
- Natural Ingredients
- Light Weight
- Fragrance Free
- MOISTURE, MOISTURE, & MORE MOISTURE!
- Relatively Cheap

I wasn't looking to much into an anti-aging product since 1) i'm only 23 and don't need it just yet, & 2) i really need the hydration since i have dry skin in my t-zone & nose & when i wear concealer, my undereyes tend to get 'cakey' since they're starting to dry out.

So after another trip to my local Nordstroms, i opt'ed for this one. I tried the sample in the store and within 5 minutes it disappeared living the back of my hand so moisturized. No grease or weight which was a plus. So i got it.

I'll let you ladies know the aftermath after i use it for a few weeks or so.

So after talking with my girl Lanette, she asked me to do a Blogger layout in exchange for some make-up. To me, that sounds like a great deal! So i'm debating now if i should open this up for other bloggers who want their very own customized layout based on what they need and by be completely original. I will not be taking any inquiries right now since i want to see how this goes with Lanette first, but i am open to comments & suggestions. So far what i've brainstormed is the following:

Pre-made layout (Basically just standard, no custom made stuff) will go for a cheaper price / exchange.
Custom-made layout (Images, Content, Color, Layout Style, etc.)
Banners
Signatures
Link-Back Images
Watermarks (For their images)

That's what i'm thinking. I know there's a bajillion sites out there on Blogger that are make-up this and make-up that - but i haven't come across anybody making custom layouts for these make-up obsessed gurus. So why not be the first?!

Honestly - i don't want the money or the cash. I'd rather do this in exchange for stuff i want / need. That way i'm not paying out of my own pocket for these items. If not that, then even giftcards to my favorite stores would even work! But we'll see - like i said this is still up in the air and i'm still not sure if i want to do this or not. I already own my own Web & Graphic Design company that's been put on hold because of what's been put out in front of us - i just need to figure out if this will be beneficial for me and my lifestyle.

But don't get me wrong - money is my best friend! So for those who just want to pay and not have to go out to the stores to purchase items from my Wishlist - that works to. But i need to figure out how to streamline this so it's fast, simple, & beautiful :)

Feedback would be much appreciated - just because i want to know if this sounds like something beneficial or not. So ladies - what do you think?

After countless days of researching what the 'actual' birthstone color is for the month of October i finally had to just make the decision myself. The reason why i'm so into that month is because that's the month my daughter was born. So i wanted to associate my necklace pendant to be symbolic to her.

If you google it - you'll see that it comes up with Opal, Tourmaline, or Rose. To me, Opal isn't much of a stone - looks like a glittery piece of terd. So i opted' out on that. Tourmaline & Rose are pretty much the same - resulting into a light pink kind of color. So i went out & finally decided to buy the 'pink' colored necklace i wanted.

Resulting to the left - as you can see in the picture, i picked up the Swarovski Crystal heart pendant with the necklace. Yeah i've heard great things about DSK, but i'm more of a 'in front of me' type of shopper. I'm still to scared to purchase things online - just because we've had our identity stolen twice - no matter HOW many precautions we take. So i'm very iffy when it comes to online shopping. So i ended up picking this beauty up at my local Fuego. It was 75% off so it only cost me a little over $3.00. Great deal! Especially since i just wanted something very cheap & very simple.

Being a Mother, you should know that you cannot wear nice jewelry especially around the neck or wrists. Especially if it's a thin stranded item because the little ones are so quick to grab and yank on it that it would break. So i'd rather have my Bunny break a $3.00 necklace apposed to a $300.00 necklace, feel me?

Anywho, just wanted to share. I'm debating if i should start buying Swarovski Crystal Pendants and make my own - or just to purchase some from DSK. Like i said - i'm very skeptical when it comes to shopping online - so i just gotta find the courage to get myself to do it. Plus i like 'man handling' it before i purchase it. Haha!

Also - the Sephora i went to did NOT have this on display (I have no idea why) so i had to ask for it & after dealing with a bitchy cashier who kept giving me some crazy dirty looks & ignored me when i asked her questions, i got an associate who was much nicer to assist me. So ask for it if you don't see it! For my local ladies - Alderwood had a whole drawer full so pick it up there!

1) My daughter, Sanaiyah - My miracle baby. As i've mentioned before - i wasn't suppose to get pregnant so when we found out the news of my pregnancy - it was complete shock & happiness. Call it a misdiagnosis by my previous doctors, but this misdiagnosis was one of the best i've ever had. She is my everything, my true bundle of joy. She's taught me so much & especially taught me that it's time to "grow up". Now i cannot imagine life without her, everything i do i do it for her, putting her before any of my own needs. I could not have been blessed with anything more beautiful as she. After 35 hours of labor and pain - she was well worth it all. I love her - my little bunny.

2) My Baby's Daddy, Seth - my main squeeze. This man has stood by me through the thick & thin. Seeing the worst of me and holding my hand through it all. No matter how bitchy or how lovey i can get - he's always there to take whatever i throw his way. Not only do i love this man - he's also the best father to bunny. Always ensuring he provides for her and spoiling her with not only toys but with love and kisses. Even though i may be bossy and put him down time to time - he's always there with open arms & excepts me for who i am and all the flaws that come with it. Not only is he my man, but he's my best friend & my guidance to make me a better person. This is the man i will be with for the rest of my life even though we may not have the marriage title (yet). Even without out - nothing and nobody can come in between us.

3) Owning, Shopping, & Applying Make-Up - By far one of my favorite things to shop for. All things make-up actually. Brushes, cases, cleaners, the works. If i had a million dollar just to use on make-up, believe me. I would use it up in 1 day! I use to own a huge collection of MAC but ended up throwing it away by accident during a move. Long story short - i threw away the make-up to keep and kept the make-up i was throwing out. Silly me. But makeup is one of my all time favorites. Even though i barely wear it since i'm a home-body i have quite the collection & yet i still want more! So *hint hint - If you want to get me anything - MAKEUP or Giftcards to get makeup :)

4) I'm an avid Soda Drinker - especially Diet Pepsi. But please believe me when i say i'm on no diet. I just love the crisp taste and just love it over any other soda. Even though it's horrible on the teeth and not a great source of hydration - i seriously cannot go a day without a Diet Pepsi. We buy a 24 pack every week just because of me. Sad i know - but oh so good! Even when we go out to resturants - my first question is "Do you carry Pepsi products?" and if they say yes - of course i order my Diet Pepsi. Even though i get death glares because i'm skinny & drinking a diet drink - i could care less because i'm so hooked on this stuff i honestly think i need help. LOL!

5) I love to mess around with Arts & Crafts - especially making things to giveaway or that can be used. So you can expect to catch me at a local Joann Fabrics of Michael's staring at supplies. On the picture i posted - that's an item i made my for my daughter's dedication. Hours of work but well worth it. The picture is a magnet! I also took up knitting and croqueting, even though i haven't stuck with it & since i'm still a newbie - i love the fact that i can now make a baby blanket! Scrapbooking is also a fav of mine - (Please be on the lookout of my scrapbook post in the future). Yeah i'm a nerd - but things like this make me smile :)

6) I saved the best for last - My Mommy. Even though we use to fight like crazy this woman gave me life. She's done nothing but stand by my side in whatever decisions (especially wrong) i make and was always there to help me through it all. Even though we've both come to the conclusion we cannot live under the same roof at the the wee age of 16 - she's still the best thing in my life. Raising 2 kids after my father passed away and provided for us with the little she had - she's brought us up to be independent & careful. She works 14 hours everyday; 6 days a week but yet still finds the time to call me everyday and to tell me how her day is and ask about mine. She's a survivor and as much as i use to hate thinking i would be like her, she is the one thing i hope i do become. Strong, Independent, Loving, & The best Mother anybody could ask for.

It's been awhile since i've done a photo shoot with my babygirl. I was just looking back at all her pictures and can't believe she'll be 1 in less than 3 months. I honestly swear it was just 'yesterday' when i popped her out of me. But through all the trials and tribulations, the sleepless nights, & every scare - she's my bundle of joy.

I reflected back to the days before her time and can't believe how much i've 'grown' as a person. Not only did i become a Mother, but i became an actual Adult. Yeah i'm 23 & should be on my path to set my life in place, but it wasn't always like that. I call her my 'Miracle Baby' not because of what she's taught me, but because i was never suppose to even get pregnant. So when i found out i was, i was in shock and disbelief, not believing what i was hearing because i accepted the fact of what my Doctor's told me.

She's brought nothing but joy & happiness and as i watch her grow every second of the day, i can't help but tell myself, "I'm proud of you, You did good this time."

Jailbreak / Unlock iPhone 3G - OS 3.0.

This is a DIY Tutorial on Jailbreaking your iPhone 3G to OS 3.0. I personally do not have the 3G but after extensive research, i've found that this is the best option & most successful.

Disclaimer: Please use at your OWN risk. I will not be liable for any damages done to your phone. This is a 'use at your own risk' type of tutorial.

First, you will need to download the following if you haven't already:

iTunes 8.2 (Download Here) - Mac / Window
RedSn0w - Windows (Download Here) / Mac (Download Here) - These are Torrent Files, so you will need to download these with LimeWire or a Torrent Downloader like UTorrent.
iPhone Firmware 3.0 - 3G (Download Here)

I recommend creating a folder and placing all of these files in it. I just created one for my desktop since that's the easiest place to find things and it has easy access.

Next, i am assuming you have some prior knowledge and know the difference between 'Recovery Mode, DFU Mode, Force Restart, Etc'. If you don't - iHackintosh has some great articles that explain the difference and how to do them. I would highly recommend you read these articles before going any further. Read them 2 or 3 times if you have to, but just understand the difference.

First and foremost, you will need to upgrade your iTunes to OS 3.0. To do this, you will need to shut off your device. Hold down the Power Button until it asks you turn your device off, and slide the slider to turn it off.

Once it's off, you will need to put your device into Recovery Mode. To do so, you will need to press and hold down the home button of your phone and connect to your computer. Read above article for more information if you're not sure at what you are doing.

Once you're in Recovery Mode, you will need to open iTunes. A pop up message will appear asking you to restore your iTunes. Before you click anything, make sure you Shift + Restore Button (Windows) / Option + Restore Button (Mac). Find the folder you placed the iPhone Firmware 3.0 file, and double click on it. This will take a few minutes. Once you've completed this and 3.0 is restored, you will need to force shut down your phone again.

Once the phone is off again, launch RedSn0w. Once loaded, you will need to click on the 'Browse' Button. Go ahead and locate the folder you've created with the previous downloads and click on the IPSW 3.0 Firmware (ex. iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore) & then click 'Next'.

If you did this sucessfully, you'll see the last line on the program state, "IPSW Successfully Identified". Then you will need to click 'Next'.

You will need to checkmark 'Install Cydia' to Jailbreak and click 'Next'

Now this is the time to ensure your phone is off and plugged in. The next step will be putting your device in DFU mode. Before clicking next, read this as a preview for what you're about to do next. It starts right away, so it's better to read this and know what to expect before doing the next procedure in putting your iPhone into DFU mode.

Hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
Then release the Power button and continuing holding the Home button until your iPhone is in DFU mode.

Don't worry, the next screen will tell you what to do and counts down for you, but just remember it starts right away so make sure you're finger is already in place before clicking next. If you fail, it will bring you back to this screen and you can redo it.

If you were successful, then the following screen will appear 'Please wait while you're device is being jailbroken.' That's it! Just wait a few minutes, and you'll have an Unlocked & Jailbroken device!

If you have any issues with this, please feel free to comment and i will try to get back to you ASAP. Sorry i didn't post any screenshots of this, like i said earlier - i did this before and didn't even think of doing a tutorial.

Known Errors:
If you've completed this and your device shows that you need to be connected to iTunes (Picture of USB pointing up to iTunes Symbol) this means you will need to do it again since you weren't completely in DFU mode. This is trial & error. It may take you a few times to get it exactly right so just start over again and make sure you restore iTunes again with 3.0.

Now this is the tutorial to Unlocking your iPhone 3G to OS 3.0. Please note you will need to Jailbreak your device before doing this, which i showed you how to do above. Now for unlocking, we will be using UltraSn0w.

From the Spring Board on your device, go to 'Cydia', Select 'Manage' tab on the lower bottom, & then press and select 'Sources'. Now at the top right, you will need to click on 'Edit' and then 'Add'. Enter http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ as the source URL and press the 'Add Source' button. Once it's been added, click on 'Return to Cydia' button and then 'Done' on the top right.

Now you will need to press to select 'http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/' from the list of User Entered Sources. Press to select UltraSn0w from the list of packages. Then at the top right, click on 'Install' and then 'Confirm'.

After installation completes, click on 'Return to Cydia'. Now you will need to power off your device by holding down the power button for about 3 seconds and power sliding off. Once it's powered off, go ahead and power back on. Now you can insert any GSM SIM.

I myself have the 2G and was running on 2.2 - But after searching for Apps and finding the ones i wanted i kept getting an error saying i couldn't download or install them since they weren't functional on my firmware. So i took the leap and upgraded to the OS 3.0 - even though so many are skeptical at doing so. After going through endless tutorials that only 'failed' me i was determined to figure this out 1 way or another. FINALLY - after several attempts i finally figured out how to do it the 'right' way. So i just wanted to share this with whoever wants to unlock, jailbreak & upgrade.

Disclaimer: Please use at your OWN risk. I will not be liable for any damages done to your phone. This is a 'use at your own risk' type of tutorial.

First, you will need to download the following if you haven't already:

Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds.
Then release the Power button and continuing holding the Home button until your iPhone is in DFU mode.

If you've completed this and your device shows that you need to be connected to iTunes (Picture of USB pointing up to iTunes Symbol) this means you will need to do it again since you weren't completely in DFU mode. This is trial & error. It may take you a few times to get it exactly right so just start over again and make sure you restore iTunes again with 3.0.

Finally got a new phone today. It was about time i retired my Blackberry Pearl. It was about to flat line. Bad news is, i didn't get a 3G or a 3GS & i'm actually really content with that because of a few reasons.

1) I'm not with AT&T so the 3G doesn't really benefit me fully &
2) Because i'm really really really picky with my phones. I don't want to cough up that much doe for something i'll end up hating (I did that with the Prada phone & ended up HATING it. $900.00 down the DRAIN!)

So i ended up getting the 2G & the best part is i only paid $80.00 for it. Yipeeee! So since i'm a newbie, if any of you ladies have any suggestions on Apps or anything, please let me know! I want to play with this as much as i can :)

It's already been Jailbroken & i'm on Firmware 2.2. & NOOOOO Tumblr doesn't work since i'm not on 2.2.1 :\ Boooooo!

Please excuse the 'low quality' images. My BB Pearl isn't the best camera and since i was just sitting outside and no where near my digi, i just used my phone.

Any who, as most of you don't know i am very into hair & hairstyles. I've gone through it all and every color might i add, but this is my current look. I am in the process of growing my hair out for a wedding in July (I'm one of the Bridesmaids) per Bride's request so can't do much since i have shoulder length hair at the moment. I am also growing my bangs out since it's been awhile going without bangs. So just a quick post, I ended up just doing a Side Swept look. Simple & fast, especially being a Mother and all, this is a great style to go with. It's simple, takes less than 2 minutes and lasts all day. Especially in this heat we're having right now - it keeps you feeling a little refreshed since you don't have to worry about you're hair sticking to your neck / back area or the headaches from a pony tail. I am starting to experiment with headbands and 'girly' clips. But haven't gained enough confidence to wear them outside of the house.

Anyways, enough about HAIR. I ended up threading my eyebrows today. (Yes, I do it myself). It's been about half a year since i've done anything with them. Why? Because i have very thin hairs making my eyebrows very light. So i wanted to try the 'bushier' look but only found out that even when i groomed and styled them, they ended up looking like really light rectangles. So i went ahead and reshaped them with what i had to work with. I was hoping they would shape nicer this time around but unfortunately it's the same as before & always will be. That's just the way my eyebrows are.

I've heard nothing but great stuff about Anastasia's All About Brows kit, but haven't been completely sold on the product to purchase it. Any of you ladies try it?

Camping.

Camping had it's up's & down's. Call it high maintenance but i am NOT an outdoor kind a girl. I'm just fine indoors with my shower & television, but unfortunately - there are times when i need to get out & about and when it comes to 'family' outings, it's so hard to say "NO".

We ended up going to Gold Bar, a deserted town about an hour away from where i am. So if needed, i could have just drove home but i tried to ride it out as long as possible. The minute we got there it was like we were all mosquito feeders - they latched on and were obviously immune to insect repellent because we drenched ourselves with it before we got out of the car. I was so worried about Nai Nai Boo, but for some reason, her insect repellent really worked because they stayed clear of her (Thank GOD!). So after eating and getting settled in we ended up just taking showers and hung around the campfire. Even though we went with the family, it was a group camping trip with Seth's Mom's fraternity / sorority group, Alpha Phi Omega (APO). For those of you who don't know Seth, that's my baby's daddy & the love of my life. Anywho, since we were only staying for 1 night, we didn't do anything the day we got there. We ended up pitching our tent and got settled in.

Nai Nai Boo slept like a champ. Even though she was in unfamiliar territory and wouldn't sleep on our air mattress, we put her in her car seat snug with all her blankies and she KO'd. I was so nervous she would be cold or be uncomfortable, but she ended up sweating all night and slept the entire night. When we woke up we ate and headed to the pool. Yeah i said pool. It was a private camping ground so they had a lot of amenities that i didn't expect. They had bathrooms and showers and even rec rooms where we could play pool and just hang out. So i guess it was only a semi-camping trip. We took a ton of pictures, but i'm still to lazy to upload them. So here's just a preview of me & my little one. Please excuse the bare naked face. Camping requires no make up.

Blogging about camping sucks. Sorry to say, but i wouldn't even read this post.

Been working on a new blogger layout, and also just reformatted my computer, so i have NONE of my programs installed & going camping this weekend. Wish me luck, i'm not an outdoor-sy type of gal :\

Enabled mobile blogging today, just to see how the functionality works. To bad it only lets you hold a certain amount of characters - assuming it's like twitter around 140. Sad, because right now i'm using a Blackberry Pearl and removed the iNet feature since i'm planning on getting a new phone soon, so there honestly was no point for me to pay the additional $20.00 a month when i know i'm not going to use it. So i guess it's going to result to me having to blog here, maybe i can send short blogs from my phone when in a hurry, but other than that -- it'll be all computer posts.

Still gotta finish this layout, but now i'm kind of speculating if i even like it. I may just change it completely, but we will just have to wait and see. My design motivation has seriously spiraled down hill and i need my 'edge' back.

Decided to join Blogger. Even though i'm an avid Tumblr, and do not plan on leaving that site -- i wanted to create a place of my 'own'. I originally wanted to create my own domain and use Wordpress like i do for my daughter's website, but with the little time that i do have on my hands, i decided to just go with this. I use to use Blogger (in my early teens) but moved and moved and moved, bouncing from Xanga to Vox and then Tumblr, from being Hosted to owning my own Domain and then i went on a serious Hiatus.

Now i'm back. Hopefully my blogging will continue to become a 'Daily' task and i start to build an avid base of followers. I read blogs that have made an impact on my life and i hope that in return my blog will impact somebody out there.
